Have a smile on me!!

Sorry I haven't been around much. Loads happening but no time to blog it. Anyway I thought this would bring a smile to your face! It was sent by a good friend who has a knack of knowing what makes me laugh!

AMAZINGLY SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES

1. If you're choking on an ice cube simply pour a cup of boiling water down your throat. Presto! The blockage will instantly remove itself.

2. Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them while you chop.

3. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by using the sink.

4. For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer.

5. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.

6. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you'll be afraid to cough.

7. You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

8. Remember: Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

Daily Thought: SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES. NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Happy St David's Day!

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the Welsh probably due to some amazing holidays there in the past. (Although I do remember plenty of rain as well!!) The country side is stunning and the beaches are to die for! If you have never been there for a holiday then I urge you to pack a case and head in that direction. If you need any tips on where to stay then just ask, though to be honest you can't go wrong!

On a crafting note I am still playing with my Tilda stamps. Not much scrapping has been going on I'm afraid but plenty of stamping. I don't know what has come over me! I have just taken delivery of 6 more of these stamps and am dying to find the time to have a really good play. Here are a couple of cards I have managed to make for the two Granny's for tomorrow.

The first one is stamped straight on to the card and I have to say I was successful at the first attempt. Miracles will never cease.

Anyway, to all the mum's out there, I hope you have a lovely day tomorrow. And to everyone else...don't forget your mother!
